slamming the door
shaking the house
and my heart.
you never smashed a vodka bottle at my feet screaming i drink too much.
instead, you left like the calm before a storm,
and then a rush at the fall.
you were there and Jesus Christ then you were gone.
i stayed up for 6 days waiting to hear from you.
waiting for an explanation to your disappearance but i never heard from
you until i saw you in the Costco parking lot.
i dropped my eggs and the worker who kept looking at my ass ran over asking if i needed any help.
i ran over them on the way out and you called my name and
i cried on the way home.
